WHO? 13 years old through College Students
WHERE? We will meet at 5pm on Friday and stay Friday and Saturday nights at St. Innocent Russian Orthodox Cathedral: 401 Turpin St, Anchorage, AK 99504. The service learning weekend will come to a close following Liturgy on Sunday, May 7th.
COST? A registration gift of $165 a person will cover all trip expenses, make it possible for the YES Program to prepare and execute the trip, and enable our service team to meet the needs of those we serve.

Saint Herman Antiochian Orthodox Church is hosting the 8th annual Country Fair on Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 from 11am-3pm. Come out to the country and delight in some of your favorite fair foods such as gyros, locally made sausages, pie by the slice, old fashioned sodas and floats, and more tasty treats. Partake in the many attractions such as face painting, bounce house, photo booth and many of the carnival games to win great prizes! Compete in the relay races, tug of war and pie eating contest. Try to win a specialty cake in the ultimate cake walk, and peruse the Trading Post for handmade items from local artisans.

Father Calinic Berger is a graduate of Santa Clara University (1988), Holy Cross Greek Orthodox School of Theology (1994), and the Catholic University of America (2003), where he earned his PhD in Patristics and historical theology. After working as an electrical engineer in the semiconductor industry, he was ordained to the holy diaconate in 2005 and to the holy priesthood in 2006. He has served as Visiting Professor of Dogmatic Theology at St. Vladimir’s Seminary and has taught and published on Orthodox theology and spiritual life in both church and academic venues. He currently serves as the associate pastor of St Nicholas Antiochian Orthodox Christian Cathedral in Los Angeles.
