On Tuesday night September 15, the preteens (10-12 year olds) went with Andrea Dittbrender to the Food Pantry of Wasilla to sort food that was collected at the Alaska State Fair. They sorted about 1000 pounds of food in a little more than an hour into categories such as beans, vegetables, fruits, pasta, etc. We look forward to working more with the Food Pantry of Wasilla.
